Workplace & Group Orthotics Assessment Days
Bring your Pedorthist to your team. On-site biomechanical assessments and custom orthotics for offices, work crews, clinics and community groups.
How a group assessment day works
- Tell us about your group. Contact us with your location, the approximate number of people and your preferred dates.
- We plan the day together. We set up a schedule of one-on-one appointment slots so people can step away from work one at a time.
- Assessments on site. Each person has a private Biomechanical Examination covering history, weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing examination, functional testing and gait analysis, with a treatment plan.
- Orthotics made in-house. For anyone who needs custom foot orthotics, we take a 3D scan or cast, design and build them in-house, and arrange the fitting with a 6-month Fit Guarantee.
Who group days are for
Workplace and group days suit any team where people spend long hours on their feet, in work boots or at a desk, or simply want an easier way to get assessed:
- Offices and corporate teams
- Trades, construction and warehouse crews
- Clinics, care facilities and schools
- Unions, associations and community groups
- Sports clubs and teams
What we need from you
- A quiet, private room or area where assessments can happen, with a chair and space to walk a few steps
- A list of time slots people can book, or a contact who will coordinate the schedule
- An idea of group size and dates so we can plan the day
We bring the equipment. Contact us if your space is limited and we will work out what is possible.
Costs, insurance and privacy
Contact us to discuss your group and how you would like costs handled. Our standard rates are $100 for the examination and $450 per pair of custom orthotics. Many employees can claim orthotics through their extended health plan: see our insurance guides for Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife and Canada Life. If a claim is going through WorkSafeBC or another agency, contact us first.
Each person’s assessment is a private health appointment between that person and their Pedorthist.
Where we travel
We are based in Port Coquitlam and regularly visit clients in the Tri-Cities. For workplaces elsewhere in the Lower Mainland, contact us to ask about availability. Individuals can also book a mobile visit or an appointment at our Port Coquitlam clinic.
